1. Your Consumer Rights (South Africa)
This Return & Refund Policy complies with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under South African law.
Under the CPA, customers are entitled to receive goods that are:

Free from defects

Safe to use

Durable for a reasonable period
2. Hygiene & Safety Policy (Beauty Products)
Velure Lashes & Beauty sells hygiene-sensitive beauty products including:

Magnetic eyelashes
-
Magnetic eyeliner
-
Makeup brushes
-
Lash applicators and beauty tools
Because these products come into contact with the eyes and skin, strict hygiene rules apply to protect all customers.
3. 7-Day Cooling-Off Period (Online Orders)
In terms of Section 44 of the CPA, customers may cancel an online purchase within 7 days of receiving the goods, provided that:
✔ The product is unused
✔ Magnetic lashes have NOT been worn or removed from their original tray
✔ Magnetic eyeliner has NOT been opened or used
✔ Makeup brushes have NOT been used, washed, or removed from protective packaging
✔ All original packaging is intact and undamaged
If hygiene seals are broken or products show signs of use, the return will not be accepted unless the item is defective.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs under the cooling-off period.
Refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected.
4. Non-Returnable Items (Hygiene Protection)
For health and safety reasons, Velure Lashes & Beauty cannot accept returns on:

Worn magnetic lashes
-
Opened magnetic eyeliner
-
Used makeup brushes
-
Opened adhesives or liquid products
-
Any product that has come into contact with eyes or skin
These restrictions are permitted under the CPA for hygiene-sensitive goods.
5. Faulty, Damaged, or Defective Products
In accordance with Section 56 of the CPA,
A product may be considered defective if:

Magnetic lashes do not hold magnets properly due to manufacturing fault
-
Magnetic liner is dried out upon arrival
-
Brushes shed excessively due to factory defect
-
Items arrive broken or damaged
If confirmed defective, you may choose:
✔ Repair
✔ Replacement
✔ Full refund
Velure Lashes & Beauty will cover return shipping costs for confirmed defective products.
This warranty does not cover:

Damage caused by improper application
-
Incorrect storage
-
Normal wear and tear
-
Allergic reactions unless the product is proven defective
6. Incorrect Orders
If you receive the wrong item:

Notify us within 48 hours of delivery

Provide clear photographs
-
We will arrange collection or replacement at no additional cost

Velure Lashes & Beauty does not offer refunds on used hygiene products unless the item is defective in terms of the Consumer Protection Act.
